Phytocoenotical behaviour of nemoral and boreal-nemoral plant species in taiga zone communities

چکیده

Phytocoenotic behaviour of 14 nemoral or boreal-nemoral vascular plant species is analyzed in the middle- and southern-taiga subzones comparison with that broadleaved-forest zone, based upon set 1669 relevés made European Russia 1996–2018. The are mainly represented by shadow mesoeutrophic plants from “corteges” Tilia cordata s. l. Fagus sylvatica. more light-demanding Quercus robur “cortege”, either mesotrophic, mesoeutrophic, often demonstrate type zonal distribution. In boreal-forest linden beech companions typical for southern-boreal nemoral-herb / sorrel spruce (Picea abies l.) forests on placors as well valley riparian tall-herb forests, including middle-boreal ones. oak also inhabit grass-feathermoss pine (Pinus sylvestris) besides forest types mentioned. Species all named common small-leaved forests. Betula which grow together boreal could be subdivided into two florogenetical groups, namely a) boreal, originally subalpine b) ones, companions. latter group become widespread dominant forests; a good example provided Aegopodium podagraria. rank correlation (Spearman rS) analysis shows projective cover increase connected growing season warmth supply, climate oceanicity both species. These effects most sound placor community sequence broadleaved to then bilberry-feathermoss ones but weakened rich soil completely levelled aspen (Populus tremula) Carbonate bedrock outcrops contribute survival areas they inhabited during climatically favourable epochs; favoured migration these interglacials. Individualization coenotic patterns at their distribution limits does not contradict joint occurrence such relict extrazonal locations.

Species richness patterns and metapopulation processes / evidence from epiphyte communities in boreo-nemoral forests

For several epiphyte species, dispersal limitation and metapopulation dynamics have been suggested. We studied the relative importance of local environmental conditions and spatial aggregation of species richness of facultative and obligate epiphytic bryophytes and lichens within two old-growth forests in eastern Sweden. The effect of the local environment was analyzed using generalized linear ...

Transplantation experiments with Neckera pennata and Lobaria pulmonaria in nemoral woodland key habitat and managed forest

Transplantation experiments with Neckera pennata and Lobaria pulmonaria were conducted in nemoral Woodland Key Habitat and managed forest (in total 38 trees) in Latvia. Elastic cotton bandage was the best method for the present transplantation experiments. Dispersal and establishment limitation were found to be crucial for N. pennata and L. pulmonaria distribution between forest stands. 62 Foli...
